We believe the Great Commission which our Lord has given to evangelize the world, "Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15). It is our conviction that this is the great mission of the Church and the explicit message of our Lord Jesus Christ to those whom He has saved; in fact, it was His final injunction to His followers before His ascension.

We believe that this should be the born-again believer's primary purpose in life; to make Christ's love known to the whole world, and to seek to win others into God's Heavenly Kingdom. Whether or not the believer has received a formal ordination into the Gospel ministry from a denomination or institution is irrelevant, for we believe all Christians are ordained by God to preach His Gospel and win others to Christ, thereby bearing everlasting fruit for His Kingdom.

"Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit" (John 15:16). (See also Matthew 28:19,20; Acts 1:8; 2 Timothy 4:2; 1 Peter 3:15; Proverbs 14:25; Acts 26:18; 1 Corinthians 9:16.)

Our members regularly go to places where people gather, to talk, counsel and offer help. Although we often speak to and perform for larger audiences, our primary emphasis in outreach has always been to interact with individuals on a one-on-one basis.

Many people simply need a sympathetic person to share their troubles with, so we endeavor to be compassionate listeners. Our members come from a wide variety of backgrounds and are often able to apply the experiences that they have been through to others' situations.
